Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Supply your own tools with up-to-date tool inventory (We have a variety of specialty tools in the shop)
• Must be able to perform scheduled maintenance cranes, forklifts, and other various equipment
• Must be able to document all maintenance and repairs performed on the equipment and file records properly
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to lift 40 lbs
• Understand electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits a plus
• Able to work some evenings and weekends at the shop or in the field. Some travel is required
• Must be able to verbally communicate Safety issues to Customers and co-workers on location before and during job task
• Reports to Supervisor and/or Lead Mechanic on completion of assigned job task for next assignment
• Crane troubleshooting
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least (2) year experience as a crane mechanic in a diesel trucking or heavy equipment environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus
• Able to safely lift over 40 lbs
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Trade school diploma preferred
• Must have a current CDL class C Driver’s License

Pay

$32.76 - $39.55 depending on experience, certifications held, and qualifications
