Position Summary
The Mechanic (Hydraulic & All Terrain Equipment) is responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles and machinery. This position oversees maintenance inspections, monitors inventory, assembles mechanical components, and performs repairs. The Mechanic (Hydraulic & All Terrain Equipment) operates as a hydraulic technician and is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic components on equipment.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Counsults on and implements plans of action for all tasks and upgrades
- Examines machines and oversees diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems
- Maintains work logs, repairs, and maintenance records
- Rotates and balances tires, maintains oil, filters, and fluids, lubricates parts, inspects and replaces hoses and belts
- Reassembles machines and equipment
- Contains costs through the use of warranty claims and evaluates service and parts options
- Updates knowledge by participating in educational opportunities such as reading technical publications
Requirements
- Two (2) or more years of experience as a Mechanic
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of essential job functions and responsibilities
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Meet all physical requirements of the position
- Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age, or 21 if a Class A CDL license is required
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Preferred: Associates Degree or Vocational/Trade School Certification
- Welding Certifications
- ASE Certifications
- Fluid Power Certifications
- Class A CDL License
