About the Role

A Snapshot of Your Day

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles or equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and complete repairs according to company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Work closely with service advisors, shop supervisors, and customers to deliver high-quality workmanship in a timely manner.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Perform repairs on engines, brakes, suspensions, transmissions, drivetrains, HVAC systems, and other components.
• Accurately document all repairs, parts used, and labor hours in shop management systems.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors, team leaders, and customers about repair needs and timelines and explain technical issues in a way customers can understand.
• Inspect vehicles/equipment for safety and performance concerns. Complete warranty repairs following manufacturer procedures.

What You Bring

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience. Proficiency with diagnostic software, hand tools, and shop equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and repair instructions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Work environment can include working outdoors or indoors on repairs.
• High School diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability for regular lifting and handling of tools, parts, and materials up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance.
