Mechanic

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment
• Perform mechanical work on a variety of assets, including power equipment, mowers, trucks, trailers, and other landscape tools
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop area
• Accurately document and maintain service and repair records
• Provide exceptional internal customer service, prioritizing efficiency, quality, and communication
• Assist with other operational tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience
• Possess a personal, comprehensive set of tools required to perform daily mechanical tasks efficiently and safely
• Show strong mechanical aptitude, especially with gas/diesel vehicles and landscaping equipment
• Display a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization
• Show excellent communication and organizational skills
• Show high attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Experience with diesel engines and bilingual ability (English/Spanish) are preferred but not required
