Mechanic

About the role

Glasgow Tire & Auto Center is seeking a full-time Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various makes and models of vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance checks and oil changes
• Install and service tires and wheels
• Handle customer inquiries and provide recommendations for tire and vehicle care
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in automotive repair
• Knowledge of basic automotive systems and components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
