Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and maintain dredges and various construction machinery
• Inspect engines and equipment, providing services, carrying out repairs, and furnishing regular maintenance
• Diagnose defects in a wide range of heavy machinery such as trucks, skid steers, excavators, dredges, pumps, and other related equipment
• Adjust, replace, and repair faulty parts, clean, lubricate, and provide routine maintenance on all equipment
• Set up maintenance and service records for all industrial machines and equipment
• Report any malfunctions or damages to the management team promptly
• Willingly work in extreme weather conditions, both outdoors and indoors
• Move quickly in response to signals and observe details at near and far range

Requirements

• Previous experience working with Construction equipment
• Physically fit
• Capable of resolving concerns on-site
• At least 3 years of proven experience in diesel mechanics and maintenance of construction equipment

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Pass a background and drug screening
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Demonstrated work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic
• Able to lift 75 lbs and physically capable of doing construction work
