Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, and maintain dredges and various construction machinery
- Inspect engines and equipment, providing services, carrying out repairs, and furnishing regular maintenance
- Diagnose defects in a wide range of heavy machinery such as trucks, skid steers, excavators, dredges, pumps, and other related equipment
- Adjust, replace, and repair faulty parts, clean, lubricate, and provide routine maintenance on all equipment
- Set up maintenance and service records for all industrial machines and equipment
- Report any malfunctions or damages to the management team promptly
- Willingly work in extreme weather conditions, both outdoors and indoors
- Move quickly in response to signals and observe details at near and far range
Requirements
- Previous experience working with Construction equipment
- Physically fit
- Capable of resolving concerns on-site
- At least 3 years of proven experience in diesel mechanics and maintenance of construction equipment
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Pass a background and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Demonstrated work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic
- Able to lift 75 lbs and physically capable of doing construction work
