About the role

Ability to obtain ASE Certification and work toward Master Tech Certification. Ability to obtain a Bus Driver Certification and MS CDL License.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on school buses and vehicles.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures.
  • Respond to emergencies as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Mississippi Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Experience with automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of bus operation and safety standards.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

Skills

  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
