About the role
The Mechanic 2 position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment used in mortuary operations. This role requires a strong background in automotive mechanics and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work is completed safely.
- Work closely with other departments to support mortuary operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid California Driver's License.
- At least 2 years of experience as a mechanic.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC components.

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
