Job Summary

Soliciting a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves maintaining a variety of delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers with different propulsion systems.

Responsibilities

• Meets Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) requirements
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently
• Sits infrequently, as required
• Exercises simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level
• Operates standard and manual transmission
• Operates power and pneumatic tools

Requirements

• Active driver’s license issued by the state
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including Monday through Friday, Sunday through Thursday as well as Tuesday through Saturday schedules, depending on the location’s need
• Possession of required hand tools for the job

Knowledge and Skills

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computers
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools
• Class A/B or A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred

Compensation

The starting pay for this position is $39.83 per hour. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.
