About the role

Help provide a brighter future for kids in your community by joining Michigan Education Corps! As a Math Tutor, you’ll support students in grades 4–8 as they build foundational math and problem-solving skills.

Member Duties

• Support students in grades 4–8 who need extra math support
• Tutor students in pairs or small groups of 3 using evidence-based, scripted interventions
• Help students build core math skills and problem-solving strategies
• Encourage confidence, persistence, and positive learning habits
• Track student progress using simple tools and guidance
