The Meat Wrapper must provide a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling procedures and performs a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and merchandises both the fresh and frozen cases
• Prices products
• Ensures product's quality, protections, accuracy and proper rotation in coolers
• Rewraps meat packages, as needed
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements
• Ensures great customer service
• Maintains clean and organized pork rinds rack
• Keeps meat displays clean and presentable
• Stores cleaning supplies properly
• Advertises department products

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent required
• Experience working in a meat department, a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls. Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment is typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
