Responsibilities
- Prepare and display meat items in accordance with company standards and policies.
- Wait on customers and provide customer service.
- Demonstrate company's leadership behaviors and core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Requirements
- Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Able to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels, etc.
- Qualified and able to operate power and various job tools (automatic wrapper, slicer, grinder, power saw, and jack, etc.).
- Must work safely with various chemically based cleaning solutions.
- Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and willing to help all members of the department.
- Able to tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.
Qualifications
- Desired meat work experience or similar experience in food preparation.
- Past work record reflecting dependability and integrity.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, OSHA compliance, food handling, etc.
Skills
- Ability to work safely with various chemically based cleaning solutions.
