Responsibilities

  • Prepare and display meat items in accordance with company standards and policies.
  • Wait on customers and provide customer service.
  • Demonstrate company's leadership behaviors and core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Requirements

  • Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels, etc.
  • Qualified and able to operate power and various job tools (automatic wrapper, slicer, grinder, power saw, and jack, etc.).
  • Must work safely with various chemically based cleaning solutions.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and willing to help all members of the department.
  • Able to tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.

Qualifications

  • Desired meat work experience or similar experience in food preparation.
  • Past work record reflecting dependability and integrity.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, OSHA compliance, food handling, etc.

Skills

  • Ability to work safely with various chemically based cleaning solutions.
