Meat Utility

Responsibilities

• Open meat and de-box products
• Carry boxes and move product through the production area
• Manually transfer meat and move equipment
• Make boxes and operate basic processing equipment
• Perform basic sanitation duties as needed

Physical Demands and Working Environment

• Heavy lifting required
• Regular standing, walking, and reaching activities
• Ability to touch, feel, manipulate fingers and limbs to operate processing and material handling equipment
• Ability to smell to detect levels of wholesomeness and spoilage
• Work in refrigerated processing and warehouse areas that are cold, wet, and expose the candidate to moving machinery and sharp surfaces
