Meat & Seafood Associate- Part-time dayshift

About the role

Join the Monadnock Food Co-op in downtown Keene as a Meat & Seafood Associate. This is an opportunity for a friendly, customer-focused individual to be part of the farm-to-table movement, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be the face of the department, educating customers on local and organic meat and seafood options while maintaining a well-stocked and attractive workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service in the meat and seafood department.
• Cut, package, and merchandise products to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing department.
• Assist department managers and leads with ordering and pricing products.
• Work effectively within a team environment while maintaining speed and accuracy.
• Keep the department clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
• Cold tolerance is required for this position.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Good ethics and attention to detail.

Pay

Starts at $17.00 per hour, with additional compensation for experience.

Schedule

Opening shift, including weekend hours. 30–34 hours per week. Availability for this schedule is required.
