Meat & Seafood Assistant Manager
Lunds & Byerlys Woodbury is seeking a vibrant and outgoing full-time Meat & Seafood Assistant Manager to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers.
About the role
This full-time position earns a competitive wage of $28.33–$32.83 per hour. The store operates 7 days a week from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, and scheduled shifts will fall within those hours.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers
- Supervise, coach, mentor, and train employees
- Merchandise product
- Analyze financials and ensure the department meets financial goals
- Maintain cleanliness of the department
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food safety certification
- Minimum of two years’ work experience in Meat & Seafood leadership
- Service-oriented with high energy and a friendly demeanor
- Completion of Lunds & Byerlys Meat and Seafood training (or ability to complete)
- Product knowledge and comprehension of financial concepts
- Understanding of retail operations
- Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
- Ability to work closely with internal and external customers
- Compliance with USDA, FDA, OSHA, and all other regulatory agencies
