Responsibilities
- Cut, grind, slice, prepare, process, trim, tenderize, seal, package, wrap, price, prefabricate, date, label, scale, merchandise, sell, serve customers
- Handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers
- Unload trucks, sort orders, place in proper cooler location
- Wash and sanitize equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates
- Wait on customers promptly and cheerfully
- Increase store sales and profits
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
Requirements
- Minimum Willing to work weekends and holidays
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels
- Ability to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and operate certain equipment
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, safety, and food handling
