Meat cutter for Specialty Store

Responsibilities

• Cut and prepare various types of meat according to customer requests and specifications
• Ensure that all meat is properly stored and labeled
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Affix pricing and stocking of meat products
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
• Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions regarding meat products
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience in meat cutting
• Strong knowledge of different types of meat and cuts
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of inventory management
