Part‑time position with open availability between 7 am–5 pm; flexible weekends.

Responsibilities

• Multi‑task and adjust work focus regularly, handling various meat products (beef, pork, chicken).
• Cut, wrap, and display meat & poultry products according to SKH specifications.
• Prepare specialty items such as sausage, patties, kabobs, and others.
• Hand‑tie meat cuts to form roasts.
• Write orders or describe specialty products (e.g., turkeys for Thanksgiving).
• Clean department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases, keeping products and supplies organized.
• Operate equipment when required (must be over 18 years of age).
• Operate price scale, price or change price tags in coordination with the scan department.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and crates, checking invoices against items received.
• Promptly clear floor of restocking equipment and debris.
• Rotate product according to departmental guidelines.
• Set up advertising signs and display merchandise to attract customers and promote sales.
• Take and process customer orders, ensuring timely product readiness.
• Take inventory or examine merchandise regularly to identify items needing reorder or replenishment.

Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lb, frequently up to 50 lb, and occasionally up to 80 lb.
• Ability to work in cold temperatures around coolers.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate equipment.
• Open availability with flexible weekends.
