Responsibilities

• Greet and speak to customers, answer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations
• Cut, trim, prepare, and package meats for sale
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Ensure displays and signage are accurate and attractive
• Weigh, package, label, price, and display products
• Perform quality inspections on meats and other products
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation controls
• Unload deliveries or order pickups
• Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction
• Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of the company

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Complete a pre-employment background check
• Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts
• Maintain a current food worker card
• Ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments
