About the role

Market of Choice is a growing, local company with excellent benefits and opportunity for growth. Starting pay is $17/hour to $21/hour depending on experience, with growth opportunity up to $24/hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selections and recommendations of products.
• Cut and trim to specification several varieties of meat, fish, and poultry.
• Prepare ready-to-heat foods by filleting meat or fish or cutting it into bite-sized pieces, adding vegetables, applying sauces, or breading.
• Wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts of meat.
• Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display cases in attractive and eye-catching ways.
• Maintain health and safety sanitation requirements.

Requirements

• Previous cutting experience preferred, but all applications will be considered.
• Open availability, including working evenings and weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older.
