About the Role

Our Meat Cutters ensure customers receive high-quality, fresh meats by accurately cutting, wrapping, and maintaining meat products. They provide excellent customer service, answer product questions, and fulfill special orders to foster customer loyalty. The role involves rotating stock, checking product dates for safety, handling deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. Meat Cutters also support team collaboration, inspire enthusiasm for food, and promote a positive shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately cut, wrap, and maintain meat products
• Provide excellent customer service and answer product questions
• Fulfill special orders to foster customer loyalty
• Rotate stock and check product dates for safety
• Handle deliveries while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
• Support team collaboration and promote a positive shopping environment

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of skills assessment or 6-12 months experience, or apprenticeship program
• Preferred prior meat cutting experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Meat cutting certification required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong customer service, teamwork, and safety awareness
