Responsibilities

• Breaks, cuts, and prepares meat products according to company standards.
• Prepares meat products for display or as per customer orders.
• Takes special orders from customers.
• Determines which items need to be cut with assistance from Meat Clerks and Meat Manager.

Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, standing, stooping, walking, and kneeling for prolonged periods.
• Knowledge of visual and auditory requirements for a fast-paced grocery store environment.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in meat cutting.
