Meat Cutter 2- #68 Bell Gardens

About the role

The Meat Cutter breaks, cuts, and prepares meat products using hand tools and power equipment, following company standards for variety, size, quantity, and trim. Meat products are prepared for display or as ordered by customers. You will work with customers to take special orders and collaborate with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager to determine which items need to be cut.

Responsibilities

• Cut, break, and prepare meat products according to company standards.
• Prepare meat for display or customer orders.
• Take and fulfill special orders from customers.
• Work with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager to prioritize cutting tasks.
• Perform very heavy lifting, bending, standing, and stooping for prolonged periods.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Visual and auditory capabilities necessary for the role.

Pay

Hourly pay ranges from minimum wage (depending on location) up to $20.00 per hour.
