Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Work professionally as part of the team and provide excellent customer service
• Verify prices, hang current sales signs, and removes out-of-date sales signs
• Order and inventory required meats, seafood, and poultry
• Sell products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions
• Ensure neat appearance of department and meat displays
• Comply with sanitation and health guidelines

Skills And Qualifications

• Valid Food Handlers Card
• Prior food preparer experience at a grocery store preferred
• Must be friendly and people oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands And Work Conditions

• Walking: Continuously, throughout the shift, while moving about the store and obtaining product
• Standing: Continuously, throughout the shift
• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs

Pay

$18.40 to $21.03 per hour. Within this range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
