What You Will Do

  • Work independently with sales, and/or client directly to develop, secure, and manage new or expanded performance guarantees.
  • Conduct M&V workshops with clients.
  • Manage M&V contract costs to ensure minimal cost variance and implement solutions to reduce shortfall amounts.
  • Engage in projects with high levels of complexity, understanding and correctly applying option A, B, C, & D type of guarantees.
  • Monitor and manage energy consumption, utility supply, and facilities operations and maintenance programs to ensure savings align with performance contract obligations and client goals.
  • Proactively assist in promoting growth in the account, limiting risk, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

How You Will Do It

  • Deliver a Delighted Customer Experience by ensuring projects are in good standing.
  • Provide renewal cost estimates to Area Manager for portfolio of PSA’s prior to the end of the month before renewal month.
  • Maintain compliance with Timesheets, Safety App, and Expense Reporting requirements.
  • Close the assigned PSA portfolio during Fiscal Year near estimated cost.
  • Forecast subcontract costs and work to reduce shortfall payments for existing shortfalls.
  • Own and manage JCI tools & processes for timely collection and accurate data entry of utility bills or other monitored consumption sources.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical buyers, suppliers, and internal partners (Systems & Service) to provide technical, process, or financial support in the creation and maintenance of M&V solutions.
  • Review and interpret problems or patterns related to utility bills and energy consumption to limit risk and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor data gathering systems (remote measurement and verification monitoring/ECM, OBEM, FPI, etc.) to track energy consumption during installation and guarantee/tracking phases.
  • Create and deliver high-quality performance reports that convey added value and analysis of cost reduction to contract specifications and/or guarantees (Options A, B, C, D and Non-Measured Savings).
  • Participate in internal release or renewal meetings, customer kick-off meetings, and ongoing account meetings including customer touch point visits.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent years of proven industry experience (10+ years preferred).
  • Obtained CEM and CMVP (or EVO equivalent) certifications.
  • Prior experience with engineering building-related systems or services.
  • Formal report writing experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of common computer applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.).
  • Travel approximately 20%, primarily within assigned area.
