Measure Technician, Flooring - Milwaukee, WI

Measure Technicians (In-Home Advisors) work independently in a traveling field role, providing quality professional customer service that consistently meets or exceeds company standards. This position supports sales, product inquiries, in-home measurements, and installation coordination within a predefined geographical area, using company-issued devices.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily routes for pre-assigned measure appointments efficiently and accurately (60% of role).
• Perform in-home measure appointments, including creating, maintaining, and improving customer relationships.
• Provide accurate measurements, calculations, quote reviews, and presentations to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with associates, supervisors, and managers to complete work activities (4% of role).
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and work schedules (1% of role).
• Engage customers by asking open-ended questions about their projects and product needs, demonstrating product and services knowledge, and identifying opportunities for additional services (35% of role).

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
• Continuously stand, walk, or regularly lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
• 1+ years of previous related work experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Competencies: Action-oriented, collaborates, communicates effectively, customer-focused.

Schedule

Located in a comfortable indoor area, though conditions may occasionally produce mild discomfort. Travel between locations is required.

This position reports directly to the Assistant Market Manager and has no direct reports.
