About the Role
The Measure Technician (In-Home Advisor) works independently in a traveling field role, supporting The Home Depot's Field Services Organization. This position is responsible for performing in-home measure appointments, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting sales, product inquiries, and installations. The role focuses on providing a positive customer experience through accurate measurements, calculations, and quote presentations, while achieving service goals in customer service, measure accuracy, and sales productivity.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily routes for pre-assigned measure appointments efficiently and accurately (60%)
- Collaborate with Associates, Supervisors, and Managers to complete assigned tasks (4%)
- Follow company policies, procedures, and adhere to work schedule (1%)
- Engage customers by asking open-ended questions, describing product features and benefits, and identifying opportunities for additional services (35%)
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation
- 1+ years of previous related work experience
