About the role

Seeking a Data Scientist to provide advanced discovery support using machine learning, analytical prototyping, scripting, automation, data visualization, statistical analysis, and TechSIGINT tools. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to emerging tools and technologies and comfortable working in collaborative, mission-focused teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced discovery and analytical support to mission stakeholders
• Apply machine learning and statistical analysis techniques to complex mission data
• Develop analytical prototypes, scripts, and automated workflows
• Create data visualizations to communicate findings and identify patterns or trends
• Use TechSIGINT tools to support discovery and analysis activities
• Evaluate and rapidly adopt new analytical tools and technologies
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and other technical personnel
• Document analytical approaches, results, and recommendations

Requirements

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience clearly related to the position
• Experience with scripting and workflow automation
• Experience with data analysis, statistical analysis, and visualization
• Ability to develop analytical prototypes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in team and collaborative environments
• Ability to adapt to new technical tools and mission requirements

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an analyst, targeteer, or in a discovery-focused role
• Machine learning experience
• TechSIGINT experience

Pay

The pay range for this role is $135,000 - $180,000 USD per year (Ft. Meade, MD).
