For patient convenience, we also host visiting physicians at our clinics in the areas of Cardiology, Neurology, Pediatric Pulmonology, Urology, Radiation Oncology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, and Optometry.

About the role

Conduct, coordinate, and/or monitor the Resident Assessment Instrument Assessment process, including completion of the Minimum Data Set, Resident Assessment Protocols, and care plans. Participate in LTC Utilization Review meetings and maintain current knowledge of the Medicare Prospective Payment System. Work with the LTC Biller to ensure accurate translation of MDS/RUG information to the Medicare bill. Maintain knowledge of State and Local licensing boards and all Federal Agency requirements for individuals and the nursing department. Develop, review, and revise Department Policies & Procedures. Obtain and maintain AANAC Certification. Assist NMCC Administration with preparation for, and collaboration prior to and during, the LTC and CMS Survey process. Collaborate with LTC ADON/Staff Development in conducting newly hired licensed staff documentation education and periodic staff education on MDS and RAI process. Maintain the LTC Infection Prevention Program.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current RN/LPN license to practice professional nursing in the State of Montana.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience working in a Long-Term Care facility.
  • Possess knowledge relating to the age of residents served.
  • Knowledge and skills in data collection and interpretation (tools of CQI).
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in the RAI process.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
