MDS Clinical Reimbursement Director Mon- Fri position!

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective financial strategies to optimize reimbursement and maximize revenue
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate and compliant MDS assessments, care plans, and reimbursement documentation
• Analyze and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize billing and coding processes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with payors, insurance companies, and government agencies to ensure optimal reimbursement rates and payment terms
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to reimbursement and billing
• Lead and mentor a team of reimbursement professionals, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality performance
• Participate in strategic planning and budgeting efforts to drive business growth and profitability

Requirements

• Current RN License in the State of Pennsylvania
• Prior experience in reimbursement, MDS, and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of MDS, ICD-10, and CPT codes, as well as Medicare and Medicaid regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service
