MDM ETL Application Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement test data strategies for MDM ETL applications
• Lead testing of ETL pipelines of data marts and data warehouses
• Identify data validation scenarios and ensure coverage for data migration transformation and integration
• Design, develop, and optimize tests to validate ETL workflows
• Validate data governance, data quality rules, and golden record creation
• Write and review complex SQL queries for data validation with respect to given business rules and transformation logics
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and development teams to understand data requirements and ensure coverage
• Automate test data generation and provisioning processes

Primary Skills

• Strong experience in MDM Testing
• Handson experience in ETL Testing
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and stored procedures
• Strong understanding of data modelling, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience in data quality checks and troubleshooting data issues
• Good knowledge of Python for automation and data processing

Secondary Skills

• Familiarity with AgileScrum methodologies
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms like Azure Data Factory
