MDF Specialist

About the role

The MDF Specialist executes the daily workload of the Distribution Facility, processing material orders that directly support corporate storerooms, projects, and crews. This role directly reports to the Operations Supervisor and requires supporting both routine business and storm restoration work during non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Receive, handle, store, issue, package, and return materials while maintaining accurate computerized inventory records via handheld devices.
• Work across all sections of the Distribution Center (Inbound, Order Processing, and Outbound) in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Safely operate material handling equipment, including order pickers, forklifts, turrets, and pallet jacks, as well as specialized tools to prepare shipments.
• Flexibly adapt to frequent work changes throughout a shift as determined by Operations Supervision.

Requirements

• Continuous bending, reaching, and lifting of heavy material up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work comfortably at heights ranging up to 30 feet.
• Ability to utilize facility technology, including computers, tablets, printers, and handheld RF scanners.
• Strict adherence to all organizational safety policies, compliance guidelines, and procedures.

Pay

• Grade Step BM 001 Step 1 of 4 - 25.18 USD
• Grade Step BM 001 Step 2 of 4 - 25.78 USD
• Grade Step BM 001 Step 3 of 4 - 26.46 USD
• Grade Step BM 001 Step 4 of 4 (Top Step) - 28.64 USD
• Position is eligible for annual incentive payments based on company performance and subject to sole management discretion.
