Seeking an Information Assurance Engineer to design, implement, and manage policies and procedures to ensure software security for the mission management software for heterogeneous, proliferated satellite constellations. Your ability to lead and apply security expertise to deliver security plans, accreditation, and compliance to security requirements for the mission management software—which controls the satellite constellations—will be critical to executing this defense program.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and execute security plans, accreditation, and compliance to DCO-S security requirements.
  • Design, implement, and manage policies and procedures to ensure software security.
  • Implement configuration management processes in a DevSecOps or Agile development environment.
  • Work onsite at an accredited SCIF/SAPF to support classified system integration.
  • Support design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system (preferred).
  • Assess information systems to determine risk exposures and assist in the development of prevention procedures and policies (preferred).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience delivering and executing security plans, accreditation, and compliance to DCO-S security requirements.
  • Experience as a security engineer.
  • Knowledge of implementing configuration management processes in a DevSecOps or Agile development environment.
  • Ability to work onsite at an accredited SCIF/SAPF.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems (preferred).
  • AR 25-2 Information Assurance (IA) Certification (preferred).

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.

Schedule

Work model expectations:

  • Remote: Primarily remote, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities as required by the role.
  • Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
