About the role

Prioritizes outpatient care with 3 flexible clinic days/week (8-hour shifts), 120–150 on-call days/year, supporting a low-acuity birth center.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor primary care teams and help build out pediatric ER support
  • Collaborate with a collaborative care team including Integrated Behavioral Health Specialist, Social Worker, Diabetic Educator, Care Management RN, Palliative Care & Women’s Health, Wound Care, Scribe Service (DAX)

Requirements

  • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited U.S. Pediatric Residency or RCPSC-accredited Canadian Pediatric Residency
  • Unrestricted Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALS within 30 days of hire
  • Experience in mentoring and interest in rural pediatric care development (preferred)

Qualifications

  • Completed residency in pediatrics
  • Unrestricted Oregon medical license
  • BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Interest in rural healthcare and mentoring
