About the role
Prioritizes outpatient care with 3 flexible clinic days/week (8-hour shifts), 120–150 on-call days/year, supporting a low-acuity birth center.
Responsibilities
- Mentor primary care teams and help build out pediatric ER support
- Collaborate with a collaborative care team including Integrated Behavioral Health Specialist, Social Worker, Diabetic Educator, Care Management RN, Palliative Care & Women’s Health, Wound Care, Scribe Service (DAX)
Requirements
- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
- Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited U.S. Pediatric Residency or RCPSC-accredited Canadian Pediatric Residency
- Unrestricted Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALS within 30 days of hire
- Experience in mentoring and interest in rural pediatric care development (preferred)
Qualifications
- Completed residency in pediatrics
- Unrestricted Oregon medical license
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification
