About the Role

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a board-certified, highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a premier, award-winning cardiac program in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of adult cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Maintain an inpatient-focused practice structure, balanced by one day of outpatient clinic per week.
• Participate in an equitable 1:3 rotation for night, weekend, and holiday call.
• Teach and mentor the next generation of physicians through an integrated General Surgery residency training program.
• Supervise advanced practice clinicians.
• Provide outreach service as part of the role within the system.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited graduate medical training program.
• Board certified or eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Ability to obtain a license to practice in a multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.
