About the role

MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute is a physician-led institute with multi-specialty partnerships in Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular, and cardiovascular service lines. Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class healthcare organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure service, and advanced imaging with cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Practice at a regional medical center with 1:4 call and an enviable lifestyle.
  • No trauma, no children's hospital, no transplant, and a low call burden.
  • Join a group with explosive recent growth in supporting cardiology and vascular specialties resulting in the need for a 4th cardiac surgeon.
  • Enjoy autonomy along with multiple opportunities for administrative involvement and practice improvement.
  • Work in a region with a low cost of living and easy access to multiple ski mountains and lakes within 1-2 hours.

Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible at time of employment.
  • Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment.
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
  • Certified by the American Heart Association for BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • Experience with complex structural heart disease and interventions.
  • Knowledge of advanced heart failure service.
  • Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques using cutting-edge technologies.
