MCTP PTOC Warfighting Functional Analyst
About the role
As a Warfighting Functional (WfF) Analyst, you'll support the US Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) at Fort Leavenworth, KS. You'll use your analytical, tactical, technical, DOTMLPF, and MDMP expertise to plan, prepare, execute, and assess the Army's Warfighter Exercise (WFX) program. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to MCTP Military and identify, analyze, and evaluate complex Operations Orders, SOPs, policies, processes, and/or instrumentation related to WFXs, Risk Reduction Events, and MCTP steady state operations.
Responsibilities
- Support an Operations Group with the planning, preparation, execution, and assessment of the Army's Warfighter Exercise (WFX) program.
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex Operations Orders, SOPs, policies, processes, and/or instrumentation related to WFXs, Risk Reduction Events, and MCTP steady state operations.
- Write MCTP Operations Orders as required.
- Use all current and future analytical tools available to produce AARs.
- Serve as WFX POC and proficient in producing digital SCP, as required.
- Produce orders x-walk, when feasible.
- Cross-train as Workstation controller.
- Oversee the work we do for Operations Groups supporting MCTP and the solutions we deliver for the Army's Warfighter program.
Requirements
- Former field grade officer. Can be a senior Warrant Officer (W-4/5) or Sergeant Major (E9).
- Successfully served in a key developmental position at brigade/battalion level (i.e., Executive Officer, S-3, Operations Sergeant Major, etc.).
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint software.
- Familiar with all current Army and Joint regulation and publications applicable to this position prior to employment.
- BS/BA degree.
- Military Education Level (MEL) 4 CGSC or Warrant Officer or SGM's equivalent.
- Active DOD Secret clearance is required.
Qualifications
- MCTP experience
- WARSIM Instructor Controller training
- Familiar with the MCTP Archiving and Enhanced Retrieval (ARCHER) system
- War College (MEL1) Graduate or equivalent
- Retired Lieutenant Colonel (O-5) or above
- Served on Division/Corps level staff positions
- Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Master's degree

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Part-time on-call, exempt. Contract length: More than 1 year.
