Dassault Systèmes is seeking an MBSE Solution Architect to define Model-Based Systems Engineering solution architectures that support our customers’ Virtual Twin Experiences and AI-powered generative Virtual Twin initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customers through the deployment and adoption of Virtual Twin Experiences based on Model-Based Systems Engineering, mission and systems modeling, enterprise architecture modeling, and related methodologies.
  • Design comprehensive MBSE solution architectures that align with customer business objectives, technical requirements, and committed project scope.
  • Provide consulting expertise in enterprise architecture, requirements engineering, systems architecture design, systems simulation, and MBSE methodologies.
  • Guide customers in the effective use of CATIA Cyber Systems solutions, including CATIA Magic/Cameo, Dymola, STIMULUS, and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  • Apply SysML, Modelica, UAF, MagicGrid, functional and logical modeling techniques, and systems-engineering best practices.
  • Support customers in industries such as aerospace and defense, AI factories, data centers, and rail infrastructure.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor by translating customer expectations and business objectives into scalable systems-engineering solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the project-delivery lifecycle and help secure successful solution go-live and adoption.
  • Develop and improve MBSE processes, methodologies, implementation standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Dassault Systèmes brands, regional services organizations, and technical teams.
  • Contribute to internal and external systems-engineering communities through knowledge sharing, publications, presentations, and industry events such as INCOSE.
  • Capture and share knowledge and best practices gained through customer engagements.
  • Maintain an advanced level of expertise across MBSE technologies, processes, industry standards, and Dassault Systèmes solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline with at least five to ten years of relevant experience.
  • A master’s degree or equivalent engineering degree in Systems Engineering with at least five to seven years of relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Deep knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering principles, processes, methodologies, and industry standards.
  • Strong experience with requirements engineering, systems architecture design, systems modeling, and systems simulation.
  • Hands-on experience with modeling languages and frameworks such as SysML, Modelica, UAF, and MagicGrid.
  • Experience with CATIA Magic/Cameo, Dymola, STIMULUS, 3DEXPERIENCE, or comparable MBSE solutions.
  • Knowledge of collaborative platforms, Product Lifecycle Management, Application Lifecycle Management, ENOVIA, and systems or software lifecycle-management solutions.
  • Experience developing MBSE processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Previous consulting or professional-services experience with a structured and quality-focused approach to project delivery.
  • Experience working across the complete project-delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong technical leadership skills and experience leading customer engagements.
  • Ability to understand complex customer expectations, objectives, and technical environments.
  • Strong customer-facing, presentation, consulting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across internal teams, customer organizations, technical communities, and different cultures.

Pay

The total expected compensation range for this role is between $190,000 and $245,000, representing the base salary and target bonus.
