Mazak Machinist 2nd Shift

Description

Progressive Surface is seeking a skilled Mazak Machinist in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Requirements

- Must have Mazak Intergrex and Mazatrol Machine experience. - Experience with Smooth AI interface. - Familiar with Esprit Programming Software. - Must be proficient using various precision measuring tools. - Must be able to setup, offset, program and run machine efficiently. - Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors. - Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions. - Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications. - Sets up and operates machine on trial run. - Installs machined replacement parts and tests operation. - Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers to resolve problems. - Provides minor maintenance on CNC equipment. - Able to work unsupervised during shift. - Team Lead or Supervisory experience a plus.
