About the role

The role involves supporting the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing guidance to employees and retirees on benefit options and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and administration of various employee benefit programs
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws and regulations related to employee benefits
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and retirees regarding benefit options and processes
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless benefit administration
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to benefit administration

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in employee benefits administration or related field
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of health, retirement, and other employee benefit plans
  • Experience with benefit plan administration software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
