About the role
Provide comprehensive flight instruction and training in various aircraft types including Private Pilot (PPL), Commercial Pilot (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), and other related certifications. Offer both ground and flight instruction tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach students the fundamentals of aviation, including theory, navigation, and emergency procedures.
- Prepare students for FAA certification exams and ensure they meet all requirements.
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on student proficiency levels and goals.
- Assist students in obtaining their private pilot licenses, instrument ratings, and commercial pilot certificates.
- Conduct regular flight reviews and provide feedback to enhance student performance.
- Ensure all training sessions comply with FAA regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- A valid commercial pilot license with multi-engine rating.
- At least 1000 hours of flight time, including at least 200 hours of cross-country flying.
- Pass a background check and meet FAA medical certification requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience teaching aviation subjects and conducting flight training.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
