This award is recognition of the hard work of my incredible DunLab team, who bring expertise, motivation, and critical thinking to tackle medicine’s greatest challenge, DIPG DMG.

I’m incredibly thankful for the backing of our charity and RUN DIPG community and of all of the other philanthropic partners that support our work. This work can’t be done without significant ongoing investment. My sincere thanks to National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and MRFF. For the first time we are seeing significant investment in projects focused developing effective treatment options for the worst of the worse.

Importantly, this award belongs to the children and families who face a childhood cancer diagnosis, and who, when all of this could be behind them, continue to stay in the fight to create change for others. Their courage, resilience and determination inspire everything we do.

My incredible family and inspirational wife for the continuous unrelenting support of this mission.

Finally, this recognition is shared with my university and medical colleagues and collaborators around the globe who are advancing this multi-national research and clinical trials. Together, we’re striving toward meaningful impact across Australia, the US, Africa and Europe.
