Matrix & Mixing Operator - 1st Shift

Reporting to

Production Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Operate and assemble high-speed equipment, including Kitter, Mixer, Freezer, and Bagger machines.
• Aid Operators with clearing jams, stacking off, climbing for assessments, loading materials, checking code dates, and troubleshooting machine faults.
• Record required production and quality information in CDC.
• Follow all Quality Assurance standards and maintain WinSPC computerized weight-control requirements.
• Perform minor mechanical adjustments and repairs to support optimal equipment performance.
• Stage changeover parts before production transitions and return parts to the designated changeover cart after use.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or mechanical environment.
• Comfort working around high-speed machinery and performing hands-on equipment tasks.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation, code checks, and quality adherence.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records in computerized systems.
• Skill in identifying and resolving basic equipment issues.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with Operators and production staff in a fast-paced environment.

Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
