Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare for and instruct classes in Mathematics.
• Class modality may be in person, hybrid, or online.
• Provide availability to students through a combination of office hours, e-mail and other effective means of responsive and timely communication.
• Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback.
• Comply with state and federal law applicable to professional duties and responsibilities; follow established procedures in areas such as printing, turning in grades, student safety and health issues and related administrative processes.

Minimum qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics or in a closely related field with graduate level Math coursework.
• Experience teaching Mathematics.
• Commitment to fostering and supporting student success.
• Understanding and acceptance of the mission, values, goals and objectives of SCC.
