Math Tutor - Small Group Tutoring

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily, small-group math tutoring during the school day
• Build strong relationships with students and support their growth
• Track student progress and adjust instruction based on data
• Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors
• Contribute to a positive, student-centered learning environment

Requirements

• Age 18 or older
• Authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
• Current enrollment in a degree program, prior enrollment, or completion of at least an associate’s degree
• English proficiency (Spanish language skills a plus)
• Ability to commit through the end of the school year
• Successful completion of required background screenings
• Ability to reliably commute to school location based on assigned schedule

Qualifications

Gain real classroom and instructional experience from day one. Lead small-group tutoring sessions with students, receive ongoing coaching and feedback from experienced educators, develop skills in lesson delivery, student engagement, and data-driven instruction, and earn a steady income while building professional experience.

Pay

$18.00 hourly (non-exempt, paid bi-weekly)

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, approximately 8 am to 4 pm and Friday 9 am to noon; approximately 30 to 35 hours per week; During School Day; One School Year Based Fellowship (final schedule depends on school placement)
