Math Tutor (In-Person) - Santa Monica/Pacific Palisades

The Ladder Method is a boutique academic coaching company based in West LA, serving families across Los Angeles. We focus on academic excellence and long-term student growth through highly personalized, in-person support.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in subjects including Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Calculus AB and/or BC, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy, Geology, Physiology, Psychology.
• Work in-person in locations such as Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Venice, and Marina del Rey.
• Provide professional, reliable, and engaging support to high-net-worth families.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Strong academic background in Math, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience.
• Experience working with high-net-worth families.
• Familiarity with LA independent schools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Available for weekday afternoons/evenings and at least one weekend day (preferably Sunday).
• Available for approximately 10–15 hours per week.

Pay

$40-65 per hour (based on experience and education).

Schedule
