If you enjoy helping students grow academically and gain confidence in math, we would love to meet you. Responsibilities Teach and support students in grades 1–8 in mathematics and/or reading. Deliver personalized instruction using Sylvan's proven curriculum. Motivate students and create a positive learning experience. Monitor student progress and provide feedback. Collaborate with the Center Director and educational team. Maintain a professional and engaging classroom environment. Qualifications Strong knowledge of elementary and middle school mathematics and/or reading. Bachelor's degree preferred (Education, English, Literacy, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field). Teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with students of different learning levels. Reliable, positive, and student-focused attitude. Schedule Part-time and flexible schedules available. Afternoon, evening, and Saturday hours. Additional opportunities available for SAT/ACT Math instructors. Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications ($25-$30, starting, based on experience).
