About the role
We're seeking compassionate, committed educators to teach Math Learning Lab classes to high school students during the 2026–2027 school year. These classes are designed as small-group intervention sessions for students who are significantly behind in math. You'll work with a pre-designed curriculum focused on numeracy, problem-solving, and foundational skills, using methods that build confidence and mastery.
Responsibilities
- Teach small-group intervention sessions focusing on numeracy, problem-solving, and foundational skills.
- Work with a pre-designed curriculum tailored to meet the needs of learners who are behind grade level.
- Use methods that build confidence and mastery in students.
Requirements
- Charismatic, student-focused personality
- Strong interest in helping struggling learners
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Experience teaching math or working with students in intervention settings (preferred)
- Familiarity with math intervention tools or willingness to train
- 1–2 years of teaching experience
- Pre-Designed Curriculum: A structured, student-centered math intervention curriculum tailored to meet the needs of learners who are behind grade level.
- Training and Support: Extensive support and training in math intervention strategies and tools, ensuring you feel confident in the classroom from day one.
- Focus on Teaching: Materials and planning are taken care of, allowing you to fully dedicate your energy to impactful instruction and meaningful student relationships.
- Targeted Instruction: Small group sessions focus on building essential skills to help students get back on track.
- Monday - Thursday: 11:00 - 3:30
