About the Role

Milton Middle School is seeking a dynamic math teacher to be an integral part of an innovative team designed to meet the needs of middle school students. The candidate will possess exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, be strongly committed to the success of all students, understand the value of collaboration, and be ready to collaborate with a team that includes other math teachers and team teachers.

Responsibilities

• Teach middle school mathematics, potentially including algebra, calculus, geometry, and trigonometry
• Collaborate with a team that includes other math teachers and team teachers
• Implement Restorative Practices as components of classroom management
• Work in a district striving to dismantle systemic barriers and focused on improving student outcomes

Qualifications

• Current and valid Educator's License with a middle school math endorsement
• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

• Strong commitment to the success of all students
• Understanding of the value of collaboration
• Knowledgeable in effective instruction and data-informed practices at the middle school level
• Working knowledge and experience with implementing Restorative Practices

Pay

$53,266 to $83,500 Per Year
