Job Summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join a team in McAllen, Texas. The position offers the opportunity to provide elite, evidence-based MFM care in a vibrant community setting.

About the Role

This is a wonderful opportunity to utilize your evidence-based knowledge, clinical training, and technical proficiency in providing maternal fetal medicine care. The MFM services offered include fetal ultrasound evaluation, fetal echocardiography, invasive fetal diagnostic procedures, invasive fetal therapy, and maternal and fetal medical complications of pregnancy.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive maternal fetal medicine care
• Collaborate with OB Hospitalists, private obstetric groups, and hospital-based CNMs
• Work closely with perinatal sonographers and nurses
• Utilize ancillary services such as genetic counselors and diabetic educators
• Participate in collaborative care with pediatric subspecialists, fetal MRI imaging, and neonatal intensive care units

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Experience in advanced fetal imaging and management of high-risk pregnancies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to manage complex cases and provide compassionate care

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice medicine in Texas
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
